Former ASC technician Kim Powell works on Muffler
assembly
All fiberglass is fully encapsulated.
The design for each
Muffler is based on the physics and science of acoustics, removing
all guess-work from the equation. Then the ASC factory in Eugene,
Oregon goes to work building the order to the highest specifications.
All fiberglass is fully encapsulated by a Typar covering to prevent
glass fibers from getting into the air. Some designs may be baffled,
some may be flow through as shown to the left.
In each case, care is given to the exact customer
needs for the application. Some Mufflers are used in harsh environments
such as high heat, solid waste conduits, or extreme air pressure
situations. ASC custom builds to spec every time.
Pictured to the right is an ASC Muffler
installed and in use at a Momar Industries, specializing
in paperboard food packaging products. A roll of printed paperboard
feeds an in-line die cutting machine that stamps out the product.
The waste material is sucked into a waste duct, which has the ASC
Muffler system installed. Owner Greg Marsella got tired of the extreme
noise and called ASC. We set him up with a pair of Mufflers, and
now he's thrilled with the new-found quiet. He's able to talk on
the phone while on the production floor and no longer has to wear
hearing protection.
We
can engineer a custom plan that will give you the peace of mind
you deserve. To get started, fill out our Online
Info Request Form. We'll also need you to e-mail photos
and a rough site plan. This service entails a small fee which will
be applied to your Muffler order.
