The St. Thomas Episcopal Church asked for a wall
treatment to reflect the terrain of the area, and the Oregon Cascades
nearby. This system of custom 2" acoustic flat panels is an
attractive and efficient acoustic treatment for the large space
of a common room.
The design also served several practical functions.
Each separate panel has an edge bevel that helps diffuse and reflect,
lending a natural feeling to sound within the room. The bevel also
helps to hide any slight offsets that would otherwise be very obvious,
making installation much easier. And no single panel within the
design was too large to ship or fit in a small delivery van. The
entire package shipped on a single pallet.
