Working hours: Part time leading to full time, hourly wage.

General Summary

We're looking for an architect, possibly fresh out of college, who wants to broaden their horizons by learning how to spec acoustics into a project. Many of our clients are builders or designers who need someone that understands the challenges they face. That includes code issues, white papers, compliance testing and specifying of products made by ASC. This may require some travel to visit job sites, testing facilities, etc. You'll also work closely with co-workers in sales and marketing to create architectural product binders.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Able to speak in architectural terms
• Communicate well in writing and by phone
• Have a good phone voice, diction and manners
• Be organized and efficient with your time
• Be self-motivated with strong follow through
• Able to multi-task, handling many projects at one time
• Able to use a computer in daily business

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Architectural experience or degree
• Audio, sound equipment, music, hi-fi, home theater, or recording studio background helpful
• Understanding of residential construction work and blueprint reading, CAD experience a plus
